Love is Tough Enough

  Feed my lambs
Thanks Destination Dawn http://destinationdawn.myblogsite.com/ My sentiments exactly and Let me add one more scripture quote from my brother in Christ Wes.
"And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.' Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink'." --Matthew 25:40-42

1Corinthians 13:4-8 sheds true light:
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud, it is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
Your "love" has failed, Michael Schiavo!
Proverbs 6:16-19 states:
There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to Him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers.
You are found guilty, Michael Schiavo!
Finally, the Judicial Branch of our government has failed Terri Schiavo. The great laws of our land of liberty has allowed legalized murder by inhumane measures. Convicted criminals and animals have more rights then the incapacitated who can't speak for themselves. The unthinkable has become the acceptable; now anything is possible...

Comments:
Thanks Alli and so far so good the visiting nurse was pleased with Sally's progress. I just wish I was as pleased by progress in the criminal prosecution of those allowed to abuse Terri Shindler.

Great post, Al. I couldn't agree more.

I also agree, Al. Clearly Michael Schiavo is calling YHWH's judgement upon himself. I know the man is a scumbag - but I still hope he repents.

The man in me, the husband in me and the father in me think that Michael Shiavo deserves a long, slow, painful death by the most horrible means imaginable.

The Spirit of God in me though wants to go down to Florida, kidnap him for a good couple of hours and preach the Gospel to him.

We tend think that there is no hope for such a lowlife but Saul wasn't any better. He was running around overseeing the torture and murder of Believers. Talk about a low life!

I hear stories of abortion doctors repenting and coming to Jesus. Norma McCorvey (aka Jane Roe) is an anti-abortion activist and runs a ministry dedicated to such.

So, be angry but do not sin. Pray for Michael Shiavo.

--Alnot, I found through a post on Wes' blog. You are truly a man of sacrifice and your mansion will be the big one the top of the hill in that Golden City.

Thanks everybody I give credit to that cloud of witnesses because I am operating full tilt on Grace and Mercy. We are all in different stages of healing both pyhsical and spiritual. Our physical bodies may someday be broken but God keeps those he holds in his hand.

Thanks for stopping by my site...a brother in Christ I never knew I had. Your love for your son shines out.

I struggled terribly with the Teri Shiavo situation. The best I can say is that she is no longer suffering and is in the arms of Christ. She will never suffer again. I can also pray that Michael Shiavo will turn to the Lord and he, too, will see the glory that is in Christ.

God bless you and your family.

P.S. Are you a hick or a city slicker...I can't tell...not that it matters.

Thanks for reminding me that it is God's will that I should pray that Michael comes to repentance and a right relationship with God. I've been spewing venom over his actions and the wicked court system who acted as his henchman. It's been hard for me to pray for Micheal.

This stuff is a long way above my understanding.

Who says Christians ain't kewel? For we live by the golden rule.
Love God and be not cruel.
For God will repay those out of school. Defend the innocent. Do it every day. For God reigns, that is the way.

No problem Dan, we will still give ya food, water and care. Hoping someday for recovery when you are all there.

Thanks Dawn, new twist on a familar parable. Come visit any time.

The Terri Schiavo killing was barbaric and I still have a tough time beieiving the government allowed this.

Michael better have a change of heart, because someday he will be old and in the care of his kids. If nothing changes, he could end up the same as Terri. Alone in a hospice and gradually killed.
